The Magic Chef Series 1000 models are hard to find and highly coveted - making this a RARE OPPORTUNITY for anyone who has been searching for one on the East Coast to own one of these beauties.

The stove is GAS and is in UNRESTORED condition.

I bought it several years ago for our kitchen - we were remodeling and doing a 30's type kitchen with subway tile - however we decided in the end to go with a larger stove/opening. As you will see from the pictures the stove is actually too small for our opening in the kitchen.

This beautiful stove is for the stove aficionado ONLY - someone who will love and cherish this baby - and will want to restore it - as they really are works of industrial art.

Here are the DIMENSIONS:

  • * 53” w x 28” d x 64” h
  • * 6 surface burners (front center burner is 11,000 BTU high output)
  • * Two baking ovens
  • * Large oven (21” w x 20” d x 14” h)
  • * Small oven (16” w x 20” d x 14” h)
  • * Separate broiler oven
  • * Lorain oven thermostat controls
  • * White porcelain doors mounted on white cabinet

Areas that need attention:

  1. 1. 5 spots that need to be re-enameled by a restoration expert (solid, not rusted)
  2. 2. 1 broken control knob on the front right
  3. 3. rewiring of the light fixture.
  4. 4. cleaning

Other than these things she is in far better condition than ANY 1000 I have seen. The stove is pictured on ramps - the legs of the stove are being stored inside the oven to make it easier to move.

PRICE: $1500 OBO. Anyone who knows vintage stoves will know that this stove is restored condition is worth approx. $10,000.
